Sometimes I need Mending Too.

Okay…. I get it…….I apologize, alright! Alright! I’m sorry, it will never happen again. So here I am standing at the end of a void of almost an ENTIRE month of no posts, well I hope to make that change, I got a new computer at work, so now I can zip from page to page with wreckless abandon. Now you may be asking yourself “What the hell does this have to do with ME!?” well I will tell you. It means you my fellow music snot will be able to read about the all the crap I consider to be good, hopefully with some sort of consistancy.
Anyway as you may or may not have figured out I write an occassional music review for Eleven Elephants, a site I totally am in love with and is not a blinking eyesore like pitchfork, who have seemed to totally have whored themselves out as of late, but hey can’t really complain they are still vital to finding out the dirt on some of my favorite artists, or even soon to be favorites. Being a writer for such a webpage we get free shit, not a bad deal if you ask myself, but that doesn’t come guilt free, you occassionally get a person with diligence and vigor behind their music, and rightfully so, everyone should be passionate about the stuff they put on cd, or why even put it there to begin with. One such band is Sono Oto, they have been emailing my friend brandon now for seems like months about their cd that has just sat on our coffee table. Now as I listen to it I feel exceptionally guilty, here I sit with outlets to possibly springing said cd to certain people that could get these guys some meals, and it sits on the very coffee table where I eat my meals. So here are two of their tracks, they excell in 60’s style pop vocals with instrumentation that can be compared to softer moments of the flaming lips catalog. Watch for the review to follow on Eleven Elephants, and for them to be opening for one of the bands Pitchfork will be adding to best new music next week, I dont know.
